Anantara Miami Resort & Residences, Edgewater: Branded Residences on Biscayne Bay

Anantara is coming to the United States for the first time, and it is starting in Miami. Anantara Miami Resort & Residences is a planned waterfront tower in Edgewater, on Biscayne Bay. If you want a branded, service-led home in one of the city’s fastest-rising neighborhoods, this is a project worth watching early.

I represent buyers in English, French, and Spanish. If Anantara Miami is on your list, I can help you get accurate information, compare it with the other Edgewater towers, and make a clear decision before sales open.

About the development

The project is being developed by One Thousand Group, the Miami firm led by Louis Birdman, Michael Konig, and Kevin Venger, together with Minor Hotels, the Bangkok-based parent of the Anantara brand. It is Anantara’s debut in the US.

The site is 3601 Biscayne Boulevard in East Edgewater, about 1.6 acres. The announced plan is a 50-story tower, around 650 feet tall, with 100 private branded condominium residences, 120 resort residences that owners can make available to hotel guests, and 50 hotel suites. The opening is projected for 2030.

Architecture is by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) with ODP Architecture & Design. Interiors are by Patricia Urquiola, in her first residential project in the United States. Sales are expected to launch later in 2026, and the developer has named ONE Sotheby’s International Realty as its sales partner. These are announced plans, and they can change as the project moves forward.

Location

The site sits where Edgewater meets the Design District and Wynwood. You get the bay and its parks on one side, and galleries, shopping, and restaurants a short drive away on the other. If you want the wider picture, read my Edgewater neighborhood guide and my Edgewater pre-construction page.

The concept: service and wellness

Anantara’s approach is built on Thai hospitality, and the Miami project leans into wellness and longevity. Plans include a vitality center focused on movement, nutrition, and recovery, holistic programming inspired by Thai healing traditions, wellness amenities and dining on the podium, and a private rooftop helipad. Branded residences with a health focus are a clear pattern in Miami right now. SIRO Brickell and LILLI in Edgewater follow a similar idea.

Who it suits

If you want a service-first home on the water, you value privacy and wellness, and you like the idea of placing a resort residence in a hotel program when you are away, this tower is designed for you. It also suits international buyers who follow the branded-residence trend and want an early position with a global hospitality name.
