When Dolce and Gabbana announced their first-ever branded residence, they chose Miami. And when they chose Miami, they chose Brickell. Rising 90 stories and 1,049 feet, 888 Brickell will become the tallest building on the Miami skyline, a fashion statement in travertine, steel, and glass that is unlike anything else in South Florida.
This is not a real estate project with a fashion label attached. This is Dolce and Gabbana building a world from the ground up, where Italian craftsmanship, hotel-level hospitality, and fully furnished residences come together in a tower that will redefine what luxury living looks like in Miami.
The Developer
888 Brickell is developed by JDS Development Group, a firm known for pushing the boundaries of large-scale urban development. Led by Michael Stern, JDS has a track record of record-breaking architecture and engineering, including Monad Terrace on Miami Beach. GV Development Group partners on the project. Together, they bring the technical expertise and ambition required to deliver a supertall tower of this scale in Miami.
Architecture and Design
The facade draws inspiration from quintessential modernist skyscrapers like the Seagram Building in New York and Milanese mid-century design. An elegant combination of ivory travertine, white stucco, and matte black steel beams gives the building a distinctly vertical appearance that sets it apart from everything around it. At street level, a gold beaded “necklace” wraps the lower floors, bringing a warm luster to the arrival experience. The crown of the tower features an elaborate golden sculpture that will be visible from across the city.
The architecture is by Studio Sofield in collaboration with ODP Architects. Interiors are designed by Dolce and Gabbana. The result is a building that feels more like a vertical palazzo than a Miami condo tower.
The Residences
888 Brickell will feature 259 residences ranging from one to four bedrooms. Every residence is delivered fully furnished and move-in ready, appointed by Dolce and Gabbana Casa with custom furniture, refined silverware, and designer linens. Residents choose from four curated color palettes: Verde Splendore, Oro Imperiale, Sahara Noir, and Bianco Elegante.
Ceiling heights reach up to 11 feet. Kitchens are fitted with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. Each residence includes private or semi-private keyed elevator access. A unique “lockout” feature allows owners to convert portions of their residence into separate suites or guest rooms, offering flexibility for entertaining, family visits, or rental configurations.
Amenities
The amenity program spans eight floors and is designed around five pillars: entertaining, sports, leisure, wellness, and dining.
The centerpiece is a 44-foot silver and gold lap pool surrounded by three floors of sports and wellness facilities. The wellness offering includes a full-service spa with hot and cold plunge pools, IV therapy, a salon, a tailor shop, and a yoga studio. An indoor padel court and state-of-the-art fitness center serve the athletic-minded. A children’s playroom, creative workspaces, a theater, a billiards room, and a cigar room round out the lifestyle spaces.
The 888 Pool Club features a 3,800-square-foot pool, private cabanas, two poolside bars, a Gelateria Italiana, and an all-day dining restaurant. The signature 888 Restaurant and Bar occupies a prime position in the building, and a chef’s kitchen is available for private events. A 5,000-square-foot event space with a private terrace and lounge provides a venue for entertaining on a grand scale.
Hospitality
888 Brickell is a hybrid hotel and residential building. Residents receive world-class hotel hospitality as part of daily life, including white-glove service, concierge, and access to the full suite of hotel amenities. The arrival experience begins at a grand porte-cochere trimmed in gold leaf and clad in monolithic travertine slabs, setting the tone for everything that follows.
Location
Perched on the corner of Brickell Avenue and 10th Street, 888 Brickell sits within walking distance of Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village, and the financial and cultural core of Miami. By car, it is 10 minutes from Downtown Miami, 15 minutes from the Design District and Wynwood, 20 minutes from South Beach, and 25 minutes from Miami International Airport.
Brickell’s evolution over the past decade has transformed it into a true urban center with Michelin-rated dining, designer retail, world-class art institutions, and direct connectivity to every corner of South Florida.
